As Associate Director Business Development at Leukocare AG, you will be focused on expanding the business and finding new opportunities with pharmaceutical and biotech clients. You will join our growing global BD team and focusing on clients in Europe. You will be prospecting contacts, generating qualified opportunities, negotiating contracts, winning new business, and managing relationships with key customers. By leveraging our formulation expertise and technology platform, you will contribute to successfully expand our presence in Europe.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue through new and existing relationships to Biotech and Pharmaceutical companies
  • Build, maintain, and manage a sales pipeline to achieve revenue goals
  • Position yourself as a valued consultant to our clients by connecting them to the relevant Leukocare experts and by being a subject matter expert yourself.
  • Confidently and credibly present our technology by presentations, conference calls, technical discussions/due diligence, executive discussions, web seminars, conferences, and related activities
  • Work closely and cross-functionally with Commercial and R&D teams in the U.S. and Europe to develop solutions that solve our client challenges
  • Reporting to the Global Head of Business Development, you will drive all stages of opportunity development from coordinating proposals, RFIs, RFPs to contract negotiations and execution including license deals

Requirement/ Qualifications

  • Degree in life sciences or business. Advanced scientific degree or MBA is a plus
  • 3+ years overall pharma/biotech industry experience with BD related functions
  • Profound understanding of commercial aspects
  • Strong negotiation, consulting, and execution skills 
  • Passionate sales-driven personality
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships at all levels at customer organizations
  • Experience in working on multiple projects collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams and across multiple functional areas
  • Strategic thinker and self-starter
  • Overachiever with a consistent track record of annual quota/revenue achievement
  • You excel in the ability to manage the client relationship from lead through implementation
  • You desire to work in an innovative, fast-growing company with an entrepreneurial environment
  • You are willing to travel up to 50%.
